High Grade Pink Aragonite Polished Heart Carving

This specimen is HIGH GRADE Pink Aragonite, cut and polished into an Heart. It can appear as a subtle light pink to vibrant shades of rich pinks/purples, found in Pakistan. Aragonite is one of the three calcium carbonate minerals that naturally occurs within mother nature (the other two being Calcite and Vaterite). Several marine animals are even made of Aragonite! Some everyday examples of Aragonite occurring in the marine ecosphere are mollusk shells, coral skeletons, and cave stalactites. A white background picture has been included to help better gauge the color.
