This specimen is Pistachio Calcite, cut and polished into an Heart. It can appear as a beautiful bright lime green to blue-green form of Green Calcite, found in Pakistan. Green-Calcite belongs to the mineral class of carbonate and is formed through sedimentation. The green color is due to chlorite that got trapped during crystallization. A white background picture has been included to help better gauge the color.
