Mongolian Quartz is one of the most exciting and important Quartz discoveries of the modern era. Specimens have been emerging in increasing numbers since approximately 2013, and they represent a completely distinct and highly expressive genre of Quartz growth.
These crystals originate from regions of Mongolia that are geologically complex and mineral-rich, allowing Quartz to form alongside — and sometimes directly within — other mineral species. The result is an astonishing diversity of forms, inclusions, and structural behaviors rarely seen concentrated in a single Quartz family.
Mongolian Quartz is often referred to as a crystal for “The Now”. Its emergence coincides with a time of rapid global change, collective reassessment, and a growing need for heart-centered communication and cooperation.
Mongolian Quartz is composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and crystallizes in the trigonal crystal system. What sets it apart geologically is the extraordinary range of growth environments and mineral associations involved in its formation.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Mineral Species | Quartz |
| Chemical Formula | SiO₂ |
| Crystal System | Trigonal |
| Hardness (Mohs Scale) | 7 |
| Luster | Vitreous to metallic (with inclusions) |
| Transparency | Transparent to opaque |
| Defining Feature | Extreme structural and mineral diversity |
Dual Core Mongolian Quartz crystals begin life as one crystal — often clear Quartz — and later undergo overgrowth by a second Quartz phase or included material. This creates a crystal with a distinct internal core that actively radiates through the outer layer, producing a synergistic amplification effect.
⚠️ Handling:
Handle gently, especially around cascading edges and etched surfaces. Lift from the base.
🧼 Cleaning:
Avoid prolonged soaking due to associated minerals like calcite and fluorite. Use brief water rinses or dry methods.
☀️ Light:
Some inclusions may be light-sensitive. Avoid prolonged intense sunlight.
📦 Storage & Display:
Display where light can reveal internal complexity, but ensure stable placement.
Included Quartz comes in many guises, The inclusions can be minerals such as Chlorite, Rutiles, Tourmaline, Titanium, Iron and many, many more.
Included Quartz has all the properties of Quartz itself, plus the energy of the inclusion inside. The Quartz also amplifies the said mineral inclusion!
Quartz attracts and enables you to use more life force energy. Have it around you, on you, or in elixir form, in you!

These crystals have all the properties of Quartz. In addition, being in cluster form enables the crystal points’ combined energy to spread out, benefiting entire rooms. In the case of very large Quartz Clusters, whole houses and neighborhoods will benefit!
You may place other crystals carefully on clusters to charge them.
Quartz Clusters attract and enable you to use more life force energy. Have it around you, on you, or in elixir form, in you!
Quartz Clusters seek to bring balance on all our body levels.
Quartz has the ability to receive, store and send energy, which makes it a powerful manifestation tool. Hold/gaze into the crystal, and put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into it. The Quartz Cluster receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought), then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the Quartz Cluster is still working on your behalf, putting out your thought forms.
This process has the effect of drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. They are Power tools, and you have to love ’em!
Many refer to this process as programming. Many books state that a crystal can hold only one program, but scientists have found a way to store terabytes of data into a single bubble that makes up the mist you see in the Quartz. My feeling is that Quartz crystals can in fact hold and run more programs than we could give in our lifetime!
Quartz is one of the most flexible crystal tools around. It is very responsive to our intent. What you intend is what you get! It is also one of the most powerful tools and should be treated as such.

Green Fluorite is a color variety of Fluorite that ranges from pale mint green to deep forest and emerald-toned greens. It may appear transparent, translucent, or internally zoned, often forming classic cubic or octahedral crystals.
Green Fluorite is sourced from many of the world’s major Fluorite localities, including China, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, England, and the United States. Variations in hue and saturation are influenced by trace elements, radiation exposure, and crystal growth conditions.
As part of the Fluorite family, Green Fluorite carries the core mental clarity and learning attributes of Fluorite, while expressing a distinctly restorative, nature-aligned character.
Green Fluorite is composed of calcium fluoride (CaF₂) and crystallizes in the isometric (cubic) crystal system. Its green coloration is caused by trace impurities and lattice defects, often influenced by natural radiation during formation.
Like other Fluorite varieties, Green Fluorite commonly forms in hydrothermal vein systems, frequently associated with Quartz, Calcite, Barite, and sulfide minerals. The mineral’s relatively low hardness allows for sharply defined crystal faces but also results in perfect cleavage along four directions.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Mineral Species | Fluorite (Green variety) |
| Chemical Formula | CaF₂ |
| Crystal System | Isometric (Cubic) |
| Hardness (Mohs Scale) | 4 |
| Luster | Vitreous |
| Transparency | Transparent to translucent |
| Cleavage | Perfect in four directions |
Some Green Fluorite specimens fluoresce under ultraviolet light, typically emitting blue, violet, or white hues depending on composition.
⚠️ Handling:
Green Fluorite is relatively soft and has perfect cleavage. Avoid impacts, drops, or pressure that could cause chipping or splitting.
🧼 Cleaning:
Do not soak. Avoid salt, acids, and ultrasonic cleaners. Clean gently using a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
☀️ Light:
Some specimens may fade with prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Display out of direct sun when possible.
📦 Storage & Display:
Store padded and separate from harder minerals. Use stable stands for display to prevent vibration or tipping.
Laser Wand Quartz Crystals condense and focus light. They are very powerful light tools indeed!
After reading some books, people may be afraid to even pick them up. I would like to make it clear that they only slice or cut through auras if that is your focused intent.
Laser Wand crystals are very flexible tools and may be used in the following ways (amongst many others).
1. To draw out negativity – Hold the base on the affected area and visualize the negative energy being drawn out and transferred into light as it passes out through the termination. You may prefer to use a soft receiving stone to absorb the negative energy, then cleanse the receiver crystal after the procedure is complete.
2. Put positive energy into a negatively affected area by holding the Laser Wand, moving it in clockwise circles, all the while visualizing white light going into the area requiring it.
3. Use Quartz Laser Wands for color therapy – For example, place a colored tumbled or flat cab/slice (e.g. Amethyst) on your 3rd eye, then place the base of the Laser Wand on the Amethyst and project the Amethyst color through the Laser Wand into the required area. I find this most useful when recharging chakras that may not have responded as well as hoped during a body layout. This technique really adds an extra boost. You can combine this with method 2 above as well.
4. Attach small laserwands to your fingers via rubber bands and touch them to acupressure points, visualizing light passing through the crystals. An advantage of using Laser Wands in this fashion is you do not have to wait for the person to breathe out as you do in acupressure and you can do multiple points at once.
5. Some Laser Wands have singing properties. These crystals are harder than normal Quartz crystals, and are usually very tapered. When you gently tap two Singing Laser Wands together (or even use just your fingernail on one), they make a high pitched “ting” sound. Singing Laser Wands often have a crusty appearance – the crustier they are the higher the pitch and vibration seems to be the general rule! A way to use them is to hold one crystal pointing towards the body, then gently tap the other crystal (or fingernail) onto it. Move the crystal up the body and listen for any changes in tone or pitch. When you reach a blockage you will hear the pitch go dull. Stay in that area and tap the other Laser slightly harder. After a few taps you will hear the pitch go higher again as the blockage is released and or cleared. Continue up the rest of the body as before until all chakras are clear.
6. Clear out clogged veins by visualizing a Laser Wand passing through them. I once used this technique to clear out a blocked plastic vein that had been used as a replacement in an earlier surgery procedure. This technique may also be used for varicose veins. Adding Aquamarine energy into the mix will greatly calm, soothe, and reduce inflammation within the veins, thus complementing the clearing energy of the Laser Wand Quartz Crystal.
These are just some techniques I have used with success. Naturally you can intuitively alter/modify any of the above techniques or come up with completely new ones yourselves!

Phantom Quartz is one of the most symbolically powerful growth forms in the Quartz family. These crystals contain visible internal “phantoms” — ghost-like images of earlier stages of the crystal’s own development preserved within the body of the crystal itself.
Each phantom represents a pause, interruption, or shift during the crystal’s growth cycle. Rather than halting development permanently, the Quartz resumes growth and carries the record of that moment forward. Because of this, Phantom Quartz has long been associated with evolution, resilience, and the ability to move forward after disruption.
Phantom Quartz occurs in many Quartz varieties, including Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, and included forms. Each variety adds its own nuance to the phantom’s expression and influence.
Phantom Quartz forms when a crystal’s growth is temporarily interrupted by the introduction of another substance or a change in environmental conditions. This interruption leaves a visible layer on the crystal’s termination before growth resumes, encapsulating that earlier stage within the final crystal.
The most powerful and visually striking phantoms are referred to as 3D phantoms. In these specimens, the interrupting material fully coats the termination, creating a complete three-dimensional “crystal within a crystal.”

Etched Quartz refers to Quartz crystals that display natural surface markings created through cycles of growth, dissolution, and regrowth over long geological periods. These markings appear as symbols, lines, grooves, geometric patterns, or script-like formations etched directly into the crystal faces.
Etching can occur in many Quartz varieties and from many locations worldwide. It is not a separate species or formation, but rather a record of the crystal’s long and complex interaction with its environment. Etched Quartz is often found in association with older growth stages, extended formation timelines, and fluctuating chemical conditions.
Because of this, etched crystals are commonly regarded as ancient and information-rich specimens. The presence of etching suggests the crystal has undergone multiple phases of evolution rather than forming in a single, uninterrupted growth cycle.
Elestial Quartz crystals are widely considered the most complex members of the Etched Quartz family. Their skeletal and layered growth often results in extensive and varied etching, sometimes with a different “language” appearing on each face and termination.
Etched Quartz is composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and crystallizes in the trigonal crystal system, like all Quartz. The etching itself is formed when acidic or mineral-rich fluids partially dissolve the crystal surface during pauses or reversals in growth.
These dissolution events selectively remove material from the crystal faces, creating intricate patterns that reflect changes in pressure, temperature, and chemistry. Subsequent growth phases may preserve or accentuate these etched features rather than smoothing them away.
Etching may appear as:
Because etching is a surface feature rather than a structural weakness, etched Quartz remains as durable as standard Quartz when handled appropriately.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Mineral Species | Quartz (etched growth surface) |
| Chemical Formula | SiO₂ |
| Crystal System | Trigonal |
| Hardness (Mohs Scale) | 7 |
| Luster | Vitreous to matte (etched areas) |
| Transparency | Transparent to translucent |
| Defining Feature | Naturally dissolved and regrown surface markings |
⚠️ Handling:
Etched Quartz often features fine ridges, recesses, and textured surfaces. Handle gently to avoid chipping delicate etched edges.
🧼 Cleaning:
Water-safe for brief rinsing. Avoid prolonged soaking, ultrasonic cleaners, or chemical agents, which may lodge in etched areas. Dry thoroughly.
☀️ Light:
Light-stable under normal display conditions.
📦 Storage & Display:
Store padded and separate from harder or angular specimens. Etched Quartz is best displayed where its surface detail can be appreciated without risk of impact.
