This rare limonite included etched smoky quartz cluster from Madagascar has a dense natural formation, warm golden smoky colour, layered point growth, etched crystal surfaces, and a rugged mineral-rich base.
You can see the natural smoky quartz cluster spreading low and wide from a rugged base, with many intergrown crystals rising and leaning through the centre. The formation has dense layered point growth, with golden smoky points overlapping one another and creating a complex sculptural display.
Looking into the crystal, golden limonite inclusions and coatings bring honey, ochre, and bronze tones through the smoky quartz. The smoky translucent zoning shifts between clearer grey areas, warm golden tips, and darker internal veils, giving the cluster a rich earthy glow from different angles.
This crystal shows etched crystal surfaces and layered side striations across several points, especially where the flatter crystal faces reveal fine horizontal growth lines.
