You can see vivid blue botryoidal aragonite spreading over the face of the specimen in clustered rounded forms. The bubble-like crystal growth gives the surface a lively, organic structure, with larger rounded formations surrounded by smaller granular areas and fine sparkling druzy texture.

Looking into the crystal surface, the blue aragonite shifts between smooth, rounded mounds and sugary microcrystalline patches. A white mineral seam cuts through parts of the matrix, adding brightness and contrast, while deeper openings expose darker areas beneath the blue growth.

This crystal shows a strong natural relationship between the aragonite and its host rock. The earthy green-brown matrix is visible along the back and edges, creating a dramatic contrast with the vivid blue coverage and emphasizing the specimen’s raw, uncut mineral character.

The overall form has a sculptural display quality, with the blue botryoidal aragonite wrapping across the front and side while the rugged matrix anchors the piece visually. Its vivid color, rounded growth habit, sparkling texture, and locality from Wenshan make it a rare, collectible, and highly displayable blue aragonite specimen.
