Shungite Origins & Background
Shungite is one of the most extraordinary carbon-based materials found on Earth. Traditionally, true Shungite has been sourced almost exclusively from the Karelia region of Russia, where it has been used for centuries for water purification, healing, and protection.
At the time of writing, Russian Shungite has become largely unavailable due to geopolitical events. In a remarkable and timely development, a new and highly significant deposit has been discovered in Colombia.
